MLS: Medium long shot
MS: Mid shot
MCU: medium close up
CU: Close up
BCU: Big close up

THE STORY:
WHO?: CP -> character details
WHAT?: MS ->showing your character preform an action.
WHERE?: LS -> Establishing shot -> show the location the action takes place.
HOW? single MSU/series CU -> explain an event -> ex. pictures in a dark room.
WHY?: BCU -> revealing more about a character and their actions -> abject and persons.
WHEN?: WS+CU -> can be used to show time. Time can be a difficult thing to capture on the screen. Can use jump shoots.
Every shoot needs to have a purpose!

For example: Filming a football-mach -> all the cameras are placed on the same side. If not, it will be very confusing for the people who watch it on TV.
